TeamMBA to Receive “Team Champion Award” in Philly Livestrong Challenge
We received official notification yesterday that TeamMBA will receive the Team Champion Award for fundraising in the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s Philadelphia Livestrong Challenge event taking place this weekend. The Team Champion Award goes to the team raising the most money. As of yesterday morning’s deadline, TeamMBA had raised US$65,000–and donations are still coming in. The team, which includes MBA students from Penn State, Rutgers and Villanova, will be honored at a special appreciation dinner tomorrow evening with Lance Armstrong himself.
